Have you ever wondered who decides where to put roads? Or makes sure that someone answers the phone when you call 911? Or determines that a new drug is safe for the public? These tasks and many more are part of public service, a field that focuses on building healthy societies. Public service includes many different types of careers, but they all have in common the goal of working for others. This course will explore some of the most common career paths in public service.
