About Brightspire
The Curriculum
Our curriculum, deeply rooted in the Inspired Learner framework, offers a blend of traditional knowledge and essential life skills, fostering a learning experience that engages, challenges, and empowers students. Our curriculum supports the developmental stages of students, their academic and cognitive needs, and their burgeoning interests.
Teachers
All courses are supported by certified teachers who provide guidance and assistance to students at every step. Whether it’s answering questions, offering feedback, or helping with challenges, they are dedicated to ensuring each student’s success throughout their learning journey.
Tutors
On-Demand Tutoring is available for core courses in language arts, math, science, social studies, Spanish, and French. Access help instantly via the live chat button in your course. Tutors can share messages, audio, and a virtual whiteboard!
Courses
Each course aligns with state standards and covers essential skills for academic success. Students can choose from hundreds of courses, including core subjects, STEAM electives, CTE, world languages, honors, and Advanced Placement®. Semester courses last 18 weeks and provide 0.5 credit. Students work independently and connect weekly with certified teachers for pacing, assignments, and support. On-demand tutors are available for instant help. Brightspire offers a wide range of courses, including initial credit, recovery credit, and CTE, as well as honors and AP options.
Credit Recovery
Credit recovery courses are tailored to allow students to test out of the material they have already learned, providing more time to focus on the material they haven't mastered yet. This allows for a more efficient and personalized learning experience. Credit recovery is available in several courses, including many core subjects and electives, across both middle school and high school courses. Students can take credit recovery
courses while also taking other core courses and electives to help them stay on pace.
